Schaffhausen's Altstadt is compact and walkable. The Rhine Falls lie three kilometres upriver, the medieval Munot fortress sits two blocks south, and the train station is a seven-minute walk. The apartment sits directly on the pedestrianised spine of the Old Town, so cafés, bakeries, and Saturday markets are at your doorstep. Parking is available at the public garage on Herrenacker, a three-minute walk.

The apartment sits 20 minutes from the Bodensee shoreline, opening access to lakeside villages, island monasteries, and vineyard trails. Rent a bike in Konstanz, take the ferry to Mainau, or drive the German shore to Meersburg for wine and views.
Check-in is from 3pm onwards. You will receive a lockbox code by email 48 hours before arrival. The lockbox is mounted beside the main entrance door at Unterstadt 40. If you need early check-in, contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate if the apartment is ready.
Check-out is by 10am. Please strip used bed linens and leave them in the bathroom, place used towels in the washing machine, and ensure all windows are closed. Return the key to the lockbox and scramble the code. Late check-out may be possible depending on the next booking; ask at least 24 hours in advance.
The apartment sleeps six guests across three bedrooms: one queen bed in the master, and two single beds in each of the other two bedrooms. Additional guests or unregistered visitors are not permitted. Infants under two are welcome and do not count toward the guest limit if sleeping in a cot or with parents.
There is no private parking, but the Herrenacker public garage is a three-minute walk. Daily rates apply, and spaces can be reserved in advance during busy periods. Street parking in the Old Town is limited to 90 minutes and metered. We recommend using the garage for overnight stays.
